Based on interest expressed by members, we’re working on launching a podcast. The idea is that it will be an experiment – a forum for participants to try out ideas and technologies – as well as an ongoing discussion about digital storytelling. What does that mean? We want segments that either:
- Talk about digital storytelling. Interviews with digital storytellers, reviews of tools people can use, meditations on the concept, etc. Tell us what about digital storytelling is interesting to you. Or,
- Are examples of digital storytelling. Share part of the oral history you recorded or the awesome sound piece you’ve been working on – or try out something you’ve thought of but just haven’t gotten around to.
We need students to create segments and to put together the episodes. We’re generally looking for 3-5 minute audio pieces, but if you’ve got something else in mind, let’s talk about it. You can either make something brand new or discuss / show off part of something you’ve already been working on. If you have an idea but aren’t sure what to do with it, we can work on that. Or if you don’t have an idea but want to make a segment, we can work with that too. If any of this floats your boat, get in touch.
